      The other day, the 15th China Plastics Expo, hosted by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, CNPC, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Sinochem Group, China National Light Industry Council and Yuyao Municipal Government, opened in the International Conference and Exhibition Center of China Plastics City.

　　Attendants to the opening ceremony included: Li Shousheng, Executive Vice Director of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, Qian Guijing, Executive President of China National Light Industry Council, Zhou Xiaoyan, Member of the Standing Committee of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Ningbo, Pan Zhengyi, Vice President of Sinochem Group, Wang Zhigang, Director of the General Office of China National Petroleum Corporation, Gang Lin, Vice Manager of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Zheng Yubao, General Manager of Publishing House of Petroleum Industry, Xun Yumin, Vice President of Publishing House of Petroleum Chemistry Industry, Ding Lihai, Vice General Engineer of the Refinery and Chemical Branch of China National Petroleum Corporation, and government officials of Yuyao Xi Ming, Sun Juchang, Pan Yinhao, Lu Jianguo and Sun Dieshuang.

　　Xi Ming, Vice Secretary of Yuyao Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yuyao, made a welcome speech. On behalf of Yuyao Municipal Party Committee, Yuyao People’s Congress, Yuyao Municipal Government and Yuyao People’s Political Consultative Conference, Xi Ming expressed his greetings to the officials and guests.

　　Xi Ming said, China Plastics Expo is an important event of Yuyao for its leading role in promoting the cooperation with other cities and the development of the plastic industry.

　　Xi Ming said, the expo this year will concentrate on the leading role of science, the development of the industry and the efficiency of the exhibition. He expressed his hope that the visitors to the expo will know more about Yuyao, strengthen the cooperation with Yuyao, and make more investment in Yuyao.

　　The theme for this year’s expo is “Development by Innovation and Dream of China”. There will be three major activities, with the exhibition area of the expo totaling 42,000 sq m and over 2000 exhibition stalls. There will be four exhibition areas for raw materials, plastic machinery, plastic mode machinery and plastic mode technology and plastic products.
